State Law

The primary Indiana statutes on weapons and firearms are found in Title 35 of the Indiana Code and Article 47 covering weapons. This information is maintained by the Office of Code Revision Indiana Legislative Services Agency:

Federal Law

There are two (2) primary sources of federal firearms law: The National Firearms Act and the Gun Control Act. These bodies of law and administrative regulation, along with regulatory compliance and criminal enforcement are provided in a single source in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives website.
