State Law

Federal Law

There are two (2) primary sources of federal firearms law: The National Firearms Act and the Gun Control Act. These bodies of law and administrative regulation, along with regulatory compliance and criminal enforcement are provided in a single source in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives website.
